大峡谷发生特大洪水——2级

亚利桑那州大峡谷在暴雨过后遭遇了一场大规模山洪。至少两人遇难，直升机不得不营救了许多游客。

专家表示，每年夏季季风季节都会发生洪水。但此次洪情尤为严重，因为近期的一场山火烧毁了山坡上的许多树木。由于缺乏树木的阻挡，暴雨迅速将泥沙、岩石和木头冲入峡谷。湍急的洪水还摧毁了一条为酒店和游客供应饮用水的关键管道。

气象专家警告称，大峡谷内风暴往往会突然形成。由于该地区经常没有手机信号，徒步者必须在进入危险区域前查看天气预报，并在暴雨期间务必转移到高处。
