第二届世界人形机器人运动会在中国北京拉开帷幕。在为期五天的比赛中，众多机器人将角逐拳击、跳高、乒乓球和短跑等项目。
其中一台速度极快的机器人甚至在100米赛跑中跑出了比乌塞恩·博尔特更快的成绩。机器人们还在练习家务活，比如搬运物品和叠衣服。
几乎所有参赛队伍都来自中国企业。中国希望向世界展示其高科技实力，并与美国一较高下。但专家解释说，这些企业的主要目标是向投资者筹集资金。
虽然这些机器能跳舞、能快速奔跑，但它们仍然价格昂贵，且尚无法完成真正的家务劳动。中国企业现在必须设法制造出实用且受普通家庭欢迎的机器人。
