马来西亚交通部长安东尼·陆克文表示，为抗议对入狱的前总理纳吉布·拉扎克授予有条件的王室特赦，他将辞去内阁职务。
根据该特赦，纳吉布若满足特定条件——包括支付约1200万美元的罚款——即可在软禁状态下服完剩余刑期。 身兼民主行动党（DAP）秘书长职务的陆克文强调，鉴于该党长期以来反腐败的斗争及其对正义的坚守，将纳吉布继续关押在狱中是该党的一条坚定底线。
尽管陆庆华本人提出辞职，但民主行动党中央执行委员会决定，该党其余四名部长和七名副部长将继续留任。民主行动党是执政联盟中最大的政党，拥有40个国会议席，其目标是维护政治稳定，防止总理领导的团结政府垮台。 陆志明向公众保证，国家关键交通项目将不受影响，继续推进。
